This tour highlights sites such as Ephesus, Hierapolis, Pergamum, Gallipoli, and the famousTroy . The tour starts from Istanbul and finishes in Istanbul again.
DAY 01: TOUR TO EPHESUS ANCIENT CITY
Early pick up from hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Izmir/Ephesus. Upon landing at Izmir Airport, you will be met at the exit gate of the domestic terminal. Then, there will be an hour transfer to Ephesus where you will see the famous ruins of Ephesus, Basilica of John and the museum upon your request. In this town, you can also visit some local handicraft that comes from the Turkish Tradition.
DAY 02: TOUR TO PAMUKKALE HOT SPRINGS & HIERAPOLIS ANCIENT CITY
After early breakfast in the hotel you meet your tour guide at the lobby. Then drive three hours for a tour of Pamukkale Hot Springs & Hierapolis Ancient City which are under protection by UNESCO. Pamukkale is home to hot springs and travertines, which in fact are terraces of mineral carbonates left by the water flowing with its temperate climate throughout the years. You can also enjoy swimming in the Cleopatra Pool filled with marble columns from the old street nearby. Other things to see are the georgeous theatre of Hierapolis and some recent discoveries. At the end of the tour, we drive back to Kusadasi for overnight stay.
DAY 03: TOUR TO PERGAMON ANCIENT CITY AND RUINS OF TROIA
Breakfast at the hotel. Then, we will meet you at the lobby and depart to visit Pergamum Ancient City. Drive about three hours and upon arrival, we will visit the Acropolis of the Pergamum Ancient City which was home to one of the steepest amphitheaters in the classical world. Up on the hill, the temple of Trajan and the ruins of one of the world famous libraries in the world are worth seeing. After a lunch break , drive to Troy Ancient City where you will see remnants dating back to 3000 BC. and hear stories about Troy by Homer. After this beautiful tour, drive to Çanakkale City. Back to hotel and rest.
DAY 04: ANZAC COVE AND GALLIPOLI TOUR
Breakfast at the Hotel. Around 08:00 am, we will meet you in the lobby and depart for your tour. Today we explore ANZAC Cove and the many memorials dotted across the battlefields of Gallipoli. Other sites to visit include Lone Pine Memorial and cemetery, Chunuk Bair Memorial and cemetery, the Nek, Johnston’s Jolly, and the many fortified trenches some of which can still be seen after all these years. At the end of the tour, drive back to Istanbul.
